Definition


Small data is a set of information of a manageable in size, and it is generated by internal resources like a hotel’s PMS, channel manager, or website. When properly structured, small data becomes actionable information that can make an immediate difference in a hotel’s performance metrics (e.g. ADR, occupancy).
