Definition
Structured data refers to data that is identifiable because it is organised, labeled, or categorized in a structure. It is understood by computers and is also effectively organized for reading. The most common form of structured data or Structured Data Records (SDR) is a database where specific information is stored based on a methodology of columns and rows. Having data sorted in such a way makes it easier for the user to find and understand all types of information.
